DistroKid can get your music into TikTok

You’ve probably heard of TikTok.

It’s the one of the most popular apps in the world and has been downloaded over a billion times.

TikTok is an app where people create and share short videos (typically 15 seconds long) with music in the background. It’s where “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X (longest-running #1 single in history) found its initial audience and took off as a viral hit.

Independent artists can now use DistroKid to get their music into TikTok.

This is free and available to all DistroKid members. Here’s how to get your music into TikTok:

• New music: Just select the “TikTok” checkbox when uploading your music to DistroKid.
• Old music: Sign into DistroKid → Click your album → Click “Add to more stores” → Choose “TikTok” → Click “Add”. If you don’t see “TikTok” here, congrats, you must’ve opted in when uploading your music & it’s already been added.
