More than once, a DistroKid member has told us they lost an important audio file on their computer — and asked if we had backups of the files they’d previously uploaded to DistroKid.

We do.

In fact, we have backups of every song that’s ever been uploaded to DistroKid. That over 1.5 million tracks!

Starting today, you have access to these backups and can download any file you’ve ever uploaded to DistroKid, any time. Storage is free and unlimited for all DistroKid members — and backups are automatic.

Behind the scenes, your files are redundantly stored across multiple data centers using the highest grade of Amazon AWS S3 storage. With durability of 99.99999999%, there is no safer way to store your files. And since it’s in the cloud, you can access your files from any device.

We hope DistroKid Vault helps make your life more peaceful!
